To celebrate the reopening of Te Whare Toi City Gallery Wellington, Meadowlark has created an exclusive collection inspired by Cornelia Parker. Drawing on Parkers practice of unmaking and remaking, as well as themes of reversal and inversion, the collaboration challenges convention to create something unexpected.

The Trophy Charm Earrings Squashed takes a readymade object and flattens it, giving it a playful, almost cartoonish form. Suspended from bold hoops, the new shape deconstructs the symbolism of glory and achievements usually associated with the trophy. A piece made to be collected, layered and loved.
